Tula was born in Holland at the end of World War II and, shortly thereafter, came to America to share in the American dream. Through hard work, her father attained that dream, enabling him to give his 4 children superb educations. Associated with an international company, she traveled and lived in many countries. Tula’s education was in schools in the U.S., Holland, Germany, England, and graduated from high school in Paris, France. She then spent two years at a junior college in the Swiss Alps, rounded off her education, plus, of course, a little skiing!!
Returning to the U.S. in the early 1970’s, she met the love of her life, an Englishman (actually of Scottish heritage) and lived in the Westchester Co. N.Y./Fairfield Co., CT area until she and her husband retired in Florida, just north of Tampa, in 1992. Wanting beaches, which were lacking in the Tampa area, they bought a house in Englewood Isles in 2000, but unfortunately, her husband passed away that same year before they moved into their new home.
“As fate would have it, it was Kathleen Beck who sold us the house and said to me that if I went to R.E. School and received my license, she would have a desk for me, and that is how I started in the R.E. business some 9 years ago. We have been a strong team ever since and both made the decision to join Gulf Realty in this changing economic climate.”
Besides speaking English fluently, Tula also speaks Dutch, German, French and can dabble pretty well in Scandinavian!! She absolutely loves taking prospective customers to view properties, plus giving them wonderful tours of the area and show what Englewood has to offer. Outings on her boat to view Englewood from the Intra-Coastal is tops on her list! Favorite pastimes are extreme gardening and fishing.
“Give me a call and I will continue the family tradition of finding your American dream!”
