GULF FRONT HOUSE - 5 Bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms! Great place at the gulf to sit back and relax with your family and friends. This is in a very quiet part of the island - you likely won't even see more than just a handful of other beachgoers during your stay. Wander to a nearby public beach to collect shells and sharks' teeth.
On this barrier island known as Manasota Key, the coastline changes frequently. While some stretches of the island received additional sand earlier this year, this stretch did not. The beach at the property comes and goes with the tide.
This 2800 sq ft house built in 1965 was used for large family gatherings, now the family wants to share it with you. The house sits at the top of a knoll, and the sunroom windows provide a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico, and of course, the beautiful sunsets. The sunroom has plenty of seating and an informal dining table with seating for 4, a quiet, comfy place to enjoy your morning coffee while watching for a pod of dolphins. The sunroom adjoins the living room where you'll find several sofas around a large-screen TV with cable access, free Wi-Fi internet available, too.
Four of the bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms are off to the side of the living room. Two of these bedrooms each have 2 full (double) beds and are joined by a bathroom with double sinks and a tub/shower combination. Of the other two bedrooms, one has 4 twin beds and the other a double bed. They are also joined by a bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
The fifth bedroom and 3rd full bathroom are on the opposite side of the living room, providing more privacy and a quieter space for taking an afternoon nap. This bedroom has the only Queen-size bed, a TV, an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower, and nice gulf views.
Next to the living room is the fully-equipped kitchen and a more formal dining area with seating for 10. Adjacent to the kitchen is the half-bathroom and laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. A detached 1-car garage is located behind the house. It has additional room for storing beach chairs and beach toys.
The house is located about 2 miles south of the Manasota Public Beach. The north bridge takes you over to the mainland where you'll find plenty of shops, grocery stores, and restaurants in Venice and Englewood.
